 Paul is the Editor and Publisher of Outdoor View Magazine. He has been involved with outdoor media and communications since 1993. He is a member of the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association (SEOPA), the Tennessee Outdoor Writer’s Association (TOWA), the Kentucky Outdoor Press Association (KOPA), and a past member of the Outdoor Writer’s Association of America (OWAA) for several years. He is an award-winning writer and has been published in numerous national and regional magazines including Bow & Arrow Hunting Magazine, 21 different Game & Fish Publications, Fur-Fish-Game, Field Trial Magazine, Instinctive Archer, Blackpowder Hunting, Muzzle Blasts, Midwest Outdoors, Smoky Mountain Living, Outdoor Guide Magazine, Tennessee Wildlife, Adventure Outdoors, American Bowhunter, Tennessee Valley Outdoors, Kentucky Sportsman, Ohio Valley Outdoors, Sportsman's Digest, Woods & Waters, River Country Outdoors, West Tennessee Outdoors, Tri-State Outdoor News, Indiana Outdoor News, Tennessee Outdoor News, and Kentucky Bowhunter. Additionally, he has been published in magazines outside of the outdoor field, in newspapers, written outdoor video scripts, and advertising copy for radio. He has been involved with videography since 1996 and has helped produce outdoor videos for both retail sale as well as commercial products for promotional use.
Paul Moore is an avid outdoorsman and has spent most of his life pursuing his outdoor dreams while hunting and fishing numerous states and in Canada. His first love in the outdoors is big game hunting with archery gear. Paul has taken ten different big game species with bow and his greatest success to date is a 500 pound black bear taken in Ontario, Canada which scored 19 6/16 Pope and Young. He also hunts turkey, waterfowl, upland birds, and small game.
He is very active with bowhunting/archery and has been a past officer in the Kentucky Bowhunter’s Association (KBA), the United Bowhunters of Kentucky (UBK), Henderson County Bowhunters, and Ohio Valley Bowhunters. He was also past director in Ted Nugent’s World Bowhunters/United Sportsmen of America organization.
He was formerly a staff shooter for a major archery manufacturer and competed in 3-D tournaments in his local area.
He fishes for most varieties of freshwater fish including crappie, bass, stripers, catfish, and trout. Occasional trips to the gulf coast also find him pursuing surf and pier fishing as well as deep sea charter fishing. He combines his love of archery with fishing while bowfishing for carp, gar, and grinnel (bowfin).
